Job Description
Want to work for an international company, supporting students throughout their medical placements based in either Croatia or The Dominican Republic, from my client`s ideal central Newcastle office? Look no further. This is a varied, complex role - very different from a scripted call centre position.
You will effectively be the point of contact for your students, between the Newcastle team and the overseas departments, clients and support staff. The role involves a number of logistical challenges, admin work, as well as detailed conversations with top professionals.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in complex customer service work, managing their own cases and having to think on their feet.
- Clarity of speech is of primary importance in this role, as you will regularly have to liaise with people for whom English is`t their first language.
- This is an ambitious, growing company and they are looking for an ambitious, proactive individual who really wants to make a name for themselves. There are good prospects of progression at my client`s company. They want somebody who can come in with an ability to deal with a whole manner of different conversational contexts and tones.
- Also, being a people person in general will set you in good stead.
The job is a 37.5 hour week - where you will do 5 shifts Monday-Saturday. The office is open from 9-8.30 Monday-Thursday and 9-5.30 Friday and Saturday.
