Job Description

We are currently recruiting an Customer Service Representative to work collaboratively within our Wholesale team. As the captive finance partner, the client offers financial services for car dealers, SME businesses and private customers. Customers are at the heart of what we do, ensuring their mobility needs are met when providing financial services solutions.

About your role

As an Customer Service Representative, you will be a key point of contact for the Dealer network, providing operational and customer support for all Wholesale funding plans and inquiries.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Processes administrative tasks - daily purchasing/processing of wholesale plans, plan transfers and extensions.
  • Ensuring all inbound calls are answered within SLAs.
  • Following up outstanding queries with Dealers
  • Monitor Dealers payments.
  • Manage account reconciliations using SAP
  • Negotiate and purchase wholesale stocking units and acceptance of new Wholesale business (within a specified limit).
  • General administrative tasks in support of the business.
  • Updating daily, weekly and monthly reports understanding and reporting any trends
  • To work alongside our Fleet team to assist with Dealer invoice preparation, invoice query's and payments during busy periods
  • Support and participate in the Business Process Management Programme.
  • Understanding and promoting company policy on Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
  • To ensure ongoing adherence to all relevant compliance regulations that may govern the UK business and complete all regulatory training where applicable in a timely fashion.

The Customer Service Representative is a key role in the company and we expect the successful candidate to have the following qualifications, skills and knowledge;

  • Previous experience within a customer focused role
  • Previous experience of working under pressure and to strict deadlines and SLAs
  • Experience of processing invoices and payments
  • Experience of using spreadsheets and formulas
  • Finance background desirable
  • Ability to focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy essential.
  • Analytical skills to assist with problem solving activities for retailers.
  • Good team player and ability to use own initiative.
  • Possess excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Demonstrate effective call handling skills ensuring adherence to TCF
  • Ability to manage own workloads and demonstrate a flexible approach
  • PC skills to include MS word and Excel.
