Customer Service Specialist

Based - Hull City Centre

Full time Permanent

Based in a beautiful location in the centre of Hull my client, a well-established business in their sector has opened an exciting position for a customer service specialist to start a long career in their industry.

The Position

A real mixed bag, keeping your day to day fresh and exciting, you will be required to learn fast and understand the products ready to sell (not pushy or hard sell) over the phone, email or on the shop floor at the same time deliver outstanding customer service and product knowledge to anyone you make contact with. This position will also see the ideal candidate take care of administration, existing customer care and supplier duties which include managing social media and updating the website.

This position is a great opportunity for a candidate from a customer service or retail background. However, the ideal candidate will need to be switched on a prepared to learn fast.

Hours are Monday, Wednesday-Friday 9.30-17.30 and alternate weekends (Saturday 9.30-17.30 and Sunday 10.00-16.00). EVERY Tuesday off.

Ideal experience and Skills

• Organised
• Fast learner
• Great communicator and confident
• A history in retail sales or customer service
• Willing to put the hours in to learn the products
• Good understanding of Social media
• Experience using Microsoft products
