Job Description

Our Bradford based client is currently looking for a Customer Service Team Leader, to join them on a permanent basis, due to an internal promotion.

You`ll be joining a well-established, international company, who pride themselves on providing an award-winning service and excellent customer service from start to finish. The role will be busy and focused around your soft skills, coaching, developing and motivating a team of customer service staff.

A day in the life will include:
Aiding with the day to day planning of the team, ensuring all areas are covered and that SLAs are being met
Driving the delivery of service level, quality and productivity targets within their teams
Providing regular coaching and feedback to the team, identifying training needs and leading your team to becoming experts at providing the best experience
People management such as sickness and holiday management, training and development and other HR related issues
Conducting monthly and annual performance appraisals/1-2-1s for each member of the team
Ensuring the schedule is updated and managed to include cover at all times
Contributing to the recruitment process
Acting as point of escalation, developing good working relationships with all internal/external colleagues

The ideal candidate will have a solid background within customer service, with considerable experience providing coaching, development and training to teams. You`ll will come from a financial service background and be well versed with regulations such as FCA and GDPR.

Alongside this, we`re looking for excellent IT skills and a `hands on` attitude towards team leading. Due to the shift pattern you must also be flexible to working some Saturday mornings.
