This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with experience with Customs Clearance /documentation along with HMRC procedures to join a well-established logistics company that is continuing to grow year on year.
Who you will be working for:
My Client is a well respected transport and logistics provider that's been established in the East Yorkshire area for decades.
What you will be responsible for:
Working alongside the Freight department you will be responsible for all customs entries, document checks for our clients Import and exports, checking all tariffs and trade agreements for transport by both Road and sea within a timely manner. Processing all outbound documents for trading partners. Building strong lasting relationships with clients and associates, invoicing clients and customers, Complete customs procedures codes and excise, raise issues of non-compliance and ensure remedial action is completed in accordance with customs regulations and UK/ International law
What experience is needed:
- A strong understanding of Customs / HMRC processes and documentation along with experience in customs clearance is essential.
- Be organised with the ability to problem solve.
- Strong communication skills and an Eye for improvement.
- Comfortable using the Microsoft office range including Outlook and Excel.

The working week will be Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30 with a 1-hour lunch (flexi time available) pension scheme and 25 days Holiday excluding Bank Holidays
