Our Public Sector client is looking for a Dashboard Developer to join their team on a 6 month assignment.

The Business Intelligence (BI) Dashboard Developer role will provide the vital link between data and business objectives through supporting the development of business intelligence and data visualisation.

The post holder will promote and transform the way the organisation is able to use and interpret business information. You will work closely with various departments across the organisation to gather requirements and to deliver data and insights to support decision making and initiatives, utilising Qlik, our business intelligence visualisation tool.

The client has just procured Qlik, a well known business intelligence tool and are looking to get it used throughout the organisation

This role will be designing and building the dashboards to meet their requirements

The role will predominantly be working with the project team initially whilst Qlik is introduced

What you will be doing in a typical day:-

Liaising with customers of the dashboards, designing them, building and testing them

Liaising with performance team colleagues regarding the data required for the dashboards

Answering questions from customers about Qlik and providing any informal training/guidance to dashboard users

Whilst experience with using a business intelligence tool such as Qlik or Power BI would be great, the client appreciates this may not be the case so a good aptitude for data/analysis/visualisation would be great

You will need good communication skills to elicit requirements from the organisation

You must have a full, clean driving licence
