Job Description

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Data Retention and Compliance Assistant

Reports to:

Data Protection Business Partner

Responsible for:

Audit House Files

- Accurately adhere to written processes & verbal instruction

- Responsibly dispose of redundant information

- Scan relevant documents into the system

General Admin

- Contact third parties

- Answer queries

- Complete paperwork

- Upload electronic documents

- Scan and upload physical documents

To be responsible for delivering the highest possible standard of administration, support and advice for the team.

To identify opportunities for improvement and address any concerns, providing guidance/training/ feedback to support service delivery.

Act as a positive member of the Governance and Integration directorate, collaborating with other colleagues across departments and supporting a culture that delivers results and service excellence, and promotes the companys values and brand.

The ideal candidate will be living in the local area.

Experience and qualifications:

a. Experience of working in a similar role dealing with document retention (D)

b. Experience in working in an administrative role (E)

c. Experience of collaborating and working as part of an effective team (D)

d. Experience of working with third party stakeholders (D)

e. Experience of managing confidential information (E)

Knowledge:

f. General understanding of Data Protection legislation (D)

g. Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent with English and Maths (E)

Skills:

h. Ability to use own judgement to take ownership of decision making (E)

i. Ability to follow written policies and procedures as well as verbal instruction (E)

j. Strong administration skills (E)

k. Strong attention to detail (E)

l. Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills (E)
