Job Title: Campaign Data Controller & Reporting Analyst
This role is ideal for a candidate that is looking for a very commercial role. The role will mainly be focused on supporting the Operations & Automotive Sales departments by producing a variety of campaign and commercial reports for internal and client use.
The role will support business decision-makers by providing insightful reporting using reporting tools (Polaris Report Builder, Polaris Cube),along with data analysis techniques and self-initiative.
The successful candidate will be expected to understand the underlying commercial activities of the business lines for which you are reporting and strive to continuously improve the quality, accuracy and presentation of all information provided to internal and external stakeholders.
Due to the varied commercial nature of the role, the ability to build excellent partnering relationships with a wide range of areas within the business is essential.
Attention to detail is essential.
The position is within the Operations/Automotive Sales team and reports directly to the Head of Major Accounts/Head of Service Delivery. Being part of this team facilitates commercial knowledge-sharing and data control and also requires close working relationships with Underwriting, Operations and Finance teams as well as the Irish Business Unit as required.
Sales, Operational and Financial Reporting/Analysis
" To provide accurate, value-added, operational and financial reporting as well as general commercial information to both internal and external customers.
" To undertake project work which will involve liaising with departments throughout the business including: Operations, Underwriting and Finance
" To perform accurate forensic analysis and reconciliation of data on an ad hoc project basis when required
" To support the provision and assessment of scheme and product profitability reporting and to work with the Underwriting, Sales and Operation teams to investigate and identify the reasons for business performance
" To produce and ensure that MI is valid, accurate and appropriate
" Identifying and analysing data trends of the Service and Insurance companies
" Report preparation includes: regular MI with commentaries and ad hoc reports when required
" Working with the Commercial Reporting data analysts and IT team to ensure the integrity of data between financial systems and data warehouse systems
Educated to A Level standard with strong numerical subjects, and good academics
Strong Excel skills
Excellent organisational, planning and prioritising skills, managing the workload to ensure that all deadlines are met
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships across the business and to engage colleagues across the company to secure support, participation and input to achieve the required outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strongly numerate and able to interpret data and draw conclusion from data supplied
Excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail and ability to recognise potential issues with processes and controls
Good communication and interpersonal skills
