Job Description

Brook Street are a UK Award Winning recruitment agency that recruit on behalf of a lot of government bodies across the UK. Based in Coventry, we are currently recruiting for an exceptional data entry and administrators to start on a temporary to permanent position.

The role itself will be working in the data entry department.You will be working for a local Government body that specialises with children and families. You will be responsible for receiving and checking information on reports to ensure accuracy, and inputting them onto the system. You will be using several systems to ensure data is loaded. You will be liaising with external agencies, under direction to ensure that data provided is accurate and that you will be requesting for certain checks to be carried out in an effective and timely manner. Your role will also include requesting police and local authority checks, tracking when these have been requested and inputting the information on the system. You will begin your first week with a very thorough training programme which will give you an insight into what you will be doing. This will also include elements of shadowing current staff members too. From there, you are expected to complete 2 cases per day for that week, and then the number of cases will increase there on after.

You will be working for a Government body that specialises with Children and families. They are located in West Coventry and boast easy transport links, and free on-site car parking. We are looking for those who have:

  • Key attention to detail
  • Excellent ICT skills and the ability to use a wide range of Microsoft office packages
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good level of numerical ability
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal tactfully and sensitively with people
  • Good knowledge of general office practises and procedures.
  • Having a DBS on the Update Service is ideal
