Job Description

Would you like to work for an expanding company? Are you skilled in data entry and have a good eye for detail?
If so my client based in St Albans, is seeking a Data Entry Operator to join their team. You will be managing large amounts of information, so a fast and accurate approach is essential along with good communication skills. You will be confident using MS Word, Excel/data base system and Outlook.

Ideally you will have been working in a similar role for a minimum of a year, inserting, updating and maintaining accurate data on computer systems and in archives.

Responsibilities:
Insert customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within timed limits.
Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
Review data for deficiencies or error, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.
Apply data program techniques and procedures.
Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations.
Keep information confidential.

The salary is £17k-£18k and the hours are 8.30am-4.30pm Monday-Friday. In house training given, company pension/health insurance and on-site parking.
