Brook Street are excited to be recruiting for the Environment Agency.
The role is for a temporary full-time Data Processor.

We're looking for an applicant who will be able to process data, providing data processing support to an individual or team.
They are likely to be given a specific task of converting our GIS data from a MapInfo to Arc GiS format, and thus a familiarity with both of these software packages would be an advantage.

There may be additional duties, likely to involve the processing of data to respond to requests for information that we receive and again this will require the use of MapInfo, so an ability to use GIS is required.

An awareness of flood risk management theory may offer some advantage but is not essential.

The candidate must have the ability to focus on data tasks and produce outputs to an acceptable standard with little supervision.

The ideal candidate's duties will be, but not limited to:

- Entering and verifying a variety of data in appropriate formats

- Tracking and verifying quality of data entry from all sources

- Resolving problems regarding data

- Submitting reports to the Data Entry Supervisor

- 1-2 years relevant experience

The role is temporary but full-time, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, 37hrs per week. Rate of pay is £12.08/hr. The role is to run from 11th January to 31st December 2021
