We have an ongoing temporary position for a Data Processor in Cardiff City Centre on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday).
The Agency Worker will provide technical and administrative support. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
Strong Administrative Skills
Previous experience of data processing
Good communication skills, both written and via the telephone
Excellent IT skills - especially familiarity with MS Word + Excel
A flexible approach to workload as duties may vary
Brief description of duties and any skills required:
o Analyse and present data to support recommendations.
o Locate and collate data, records, and other information as required.
o Carry out upkeep and review of publications, data, records, logs, etc. as required.
o Assist in the preparation of the outputs required.
o Answering queries (telephone/written correspondence)
o General ad hoc office duties
The successful candidate will be working in a secure environment which requires a high level of background and clearance checks. This will include Criminal Record Checks (DBS Checks), Reference Checks (Employment, Education and any gaps) (3 years), Address checks (5 years) and may involve us obtaining character references and/or other evidence to cover periods of unemployment.
Once the successful candidate has been offered the role, these checks will commence. These normally take anything from 7 days to 28 days, depending on how quickly we can obtain this information for clearance.
