Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the team of a well established, family run Care Home in North Bristol.

Main Duties
You will be working in an experienced team of care assistants, supporting and caring for elderly residents, helping them with their daily routines such as dressing, washing, helping with meal times, personal care, getting into and out of bed (this will include hoisting) as well as taking part and encouraging involvement in the games, outings and other activities the home offers.

Contract
Hourly Rate: No care NVQ - £7.83 per hour
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care - £7.85 per hour, £8.47 per hour for weekends
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care - £8.80 per hour, £9.41 per hour for weekends

Hours: 24 -36 hours per week, shifts from 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, 8am-8pm. You will work a mixture of days Monday- Sunday.

Qualifying Candidates
- Experience working with elderly people
- 6 months experience working in care
- NVQ/QCF 2 or 3 is eligible for increased pay rate
- Driver is desirable due to the location on the home
