Day Or Waking Night Support Worker

Job Description

A well established and expanding organization is recruiting for a full time Support Worker for their 9 bed residential care home in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire. You will be working with Adults who have complex needs, dementia, mobility issues and communication difficulties.

Main Job Role:
- Manage them through their Support Plans (maintain good health and diet)
- Assist them with any activities or day centres they attend to
- Accompany them out & about in the community i.e bank appointments, health visits etc
- Encourage them with future goals they would like to achieve
- Full or prompting personal care required

Contract / Terms:
- Salary with sleep is £17,004 per annum = £8.72 an hour
- Full time 37.5 hours a week
- Shift patterns are7am - 2:30pm and 2pm - 9:30am
- Waking nights are 9:15pm - 7:15am

Qualifying candidates:
- Have life, paid, personal or voluntary experience in care (any setting / sector)
- You will need your own transport due to location
