Brook Street are recruiting of behalf of the Leicestershire Police for up to 12 dedicated decision makers, on initial 12-month temporary contracts based in their headquarters in Enderby.

The main purpose of this role will be to support other internal departments with the accurate recording of crimes, ensuring they adhere to home office counting rules and national crime recording standards. You will also be expected to be a key point of contact for members in the force for any queries they may regarding the recording of crime and be able to advise on different situations.

We are interested in speaking to candidates that have excellent attention to detail, can work methodically and pro-actively, strong IT skills and good communication skills. Individuals that have knowledge of Home Office Counting Rules and National Crime Recording Standards for
the recording of crime will be preferable but not essential.

The contracts for these positions will start as 12-month temporary assignments, but with the hope and intention they will be made permanent throughout the year. The core working hours are 8-4 Monday to Friday but there may be some flexibility to work until 6 pm. The hourly rate of pay is £10.69.
