Job Description

NHS Digital- Delivery Support Officer

Location: Leeds (Hybrid working)

Hours: Monday - Friday (37.5 hours)

Pay: £13.12 per hour

This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements.

We are a small friendly team that is looking for a proactive, driven, experienced senior administrator who can work on their own initiative, including taking a lead on their designated areas of work. This is an interesting and varied role and an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who is looking to utilise their skills and learn and develop further in a busy team.

  • Ad-hoc projects and supporting change (i.e., transition to a new reporting tool)

he Senior Delivery Support Officer will be responsible for: (not exhaustive)

  • Reconciling information from different sources (including problem solving).
  • Accurately maintaining management information records, e.g., recruitment information on multiple trackers, change logs.
  • Managing job advertisements.
  • Managing process around new starters and leavers (inc. new starter logon and ICT kits, induction pack, etc).
  • Organisation charts (ensuring accurate and up to date).
  • Planning and forecasting meetings.
  • Efficient meeting secretariat including planning, meeting facilitation, minuting meetings and tracking actions/ensuring they are progressed.
  • Supporting the management of the risk process and outputs.
  • Ownership and proactive assistance in the management of report production (including review and submission).
  • Maintaining forward look calendar.
  • Efficient document management inc. filing of relevant documentation, folder structures, (i.e., on MS Teams, email, etc).
  • Monitoring accurate timesheet compliance against portfolio codes.
  • Mailbox management including monitoring ensuring items for action are addressed.

Knowledge

Essential

  • Awareness of task management, workflow or collaboration tools.
  • Foundation level knowledge of how working in a delivery environment functions, with objectives, risk management, and deadlines.
  • Systems which the senior administrator will be required to be able to proficiently use are Power BI, MS Teams, SharePoint, MS Excel (spreadsheets), MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Outlook (calendar and email).

Desirable

  • Awareness of NHS Digital and how it supports the NHS.
  • Awareness of health service terminology.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educated to foundation degree, higher national certificate, diploma level, or equivalent experience.
