Working for an established charitable organisation that support older and vulnerable adults to be able to live their best later life. You will play an integral role in the delivering outstanding, responsive inclusive services and solutions across Lancashire.


The role as a Dementia service Manager will be to develop and manage the delivery of AUKL's Dementia services, working closely with the Head of service, ensuring that you support the dementia strategy is maintained to best practice, Mentoring staff, supporting the recruitment to help with the growth of the hub and have a good understanding of the care packages.

Your ability to lead from the front will be key. Day to day duties will include providing support and management to the staff team, liaising with colleagues, building stakeholder relationships, maintaining the CQC standards and following policy and procedures whilst helping the business grow and develop. This organisation has excellent standards, values and requires a manager who is able to continue maintaining these standards, whilst having the vision to develop further.


We are looking for a strong but flexible leader who can work with peers and lead by demonstration, ideally looking for strong experience from either a clinical background, strong dementia awareness and understanding the impact and effects of dementia.
Ideally NVQ Level 5 in leadership and management is required or working towards this is ok.


Competitive salary on offer from £29100 moving to 30,000k after 6 months

Mon-Fri 9-5
35 hours a week, closed Bank Holidays

You will have access to an employee assistant including counselling session, you will be a part of a supportive culture and advanced training and development opportunities.

You must have Full UK driving Licence and access to own vehicle
