An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate, dedicated and reliable Deputy Manager to lead a team within a 5 bedded residential home for children and young people, within the outskirts of the Preston area.

You will be working for a high-quality residential care provider, for children and young people based in the North West of England. They deliver individualised care packages to young people from a wide range of backgrounds.

As the Deputy Manager you will assist the Registered Manager in the leadership and management of the day-to-day operations of the home so that the lives of all of the young residents are progressively improved and to encourage their social, physical, emotional, intellectual and moral development so that they may realise their own potential.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of their care ensuring all young people are supported, nurtured and encouraged with the aim of preparing them to move on to independent living. You will also undertake on call duties shared within the Senior team.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 in Children and Young People, hold a full UK driving licence and previous leadership experience. You will also have drive and motivation, and be children focused.

This is a full-time position with a salary of between £24,500-£28,500 dependant on experience. In addition to exciting benefits and opportunities for training, progression and career development.
