Job Description

BS Social Care have an exciting new opportunity for a Children's Deputy Manager to work in a residential children's service based in Wrexham which is home to a child with mental health needs.

The company recruiting for this role specialise in providing first class therapeutic residential care, independent education and integrated clinical services to children aged between 8 and 18 with multiple and complex needs.

In this role you will be coaching, leading and inspiring a team, representing the company and it's values. You will be working closely with the Registered Manager supporting them with their workload, taking on responsibilities where delegated to you and manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager

To be successful in this role you will be a confident, enthusiastic person with:
-2-3 years experience of working in children's residential services.
-At minimum your NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People, and if you don't already have it you will be working towards your NVQ Level 5.
-Drivers License

We will accept applicants who have worked as both a Senior looking to move up and as a Deputy Manager.

As a Deputy Manager you will be required to work on shift, however you will be expected to cover where required. Each shift will be deemed as a 48 hour period and you may be required to sleep on site during this time. Your annual salary will be allocated in line with the companies pay scales, starting at £21,851 to £25,492. You will then receive a shift allowance of up to £5000 allowing your annual salary to reach up to £30,492. Please note, shift patterns can be varied to meet with needs of the home and as such your shift allowance is subject to change.
