We at BS Social Care are working with a fantastic organisation in the South West of England who work with individuals with disabilities and mental health issues.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to work as a Deputy Manager within one of their services, an 18 bedded residential service. The service supports people to manage their mental health, achieve employment goals and live more independently.

About the role:

As a Deputy Manager, you will support the Acute Services Manager to ensure oversight of clinical staff and the day to day operations of this 18 bed service. You will ensure smooth running of internal facilities, through effective systems and external providers. You will be responsible for supporting the Manager to meet the requirements laid down by the relevant regulatory bodies and internal governance arrangements.

Some of your duties as a Deputy Manager would be, to oversee the practical day to day operations of the site, deputise in the absence of the Acute Services Manager, work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team, including occasion shift cover which would require transporting patients to reviews or home visits, ensure Health and Safety processes are followed and liaise with facilities team to ensure effective oversight of agreed and reactive programme of works and building standards.

About you:

- To apply for this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years management experience within a Health & Social Care setting.

- You must have strong computer literacy and be extremely organised.

- You will have the ability to use initiative to problem solve with a positive attitude.

- You will have strong leadership qualities, with excellent communication skills

- You must have a full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle
