Deputy Manager-Children and Young People
Bradford
£32,981
£1000 attendance bonus

Are you an experienced Manager with 2 years of supervisory experience in a residential setting for young people ?

Do you have experience working with young people aged 8-18 with Social Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties?

As a Deputy Manager for one of our clients children`s homes, you`ll create a setting where each child can thrive and reach their full potential.
You`ll make sure they feel happy, safe and motivated and will also keep your home`s standards high.

This is a small service and has a Learning Centre (just for the young people in the homes)
The home has a very good staff team in place and Rated GOOD throughout - no recommendations or requirements.

With a high staff-to-child ratio and in-house clinical teams, our children`s homes have a reputation for excellence. Through inspirational homes, schools and ethos they have achieved the highest possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
Working alongside and taking instruction from the manager
Managing day-to-day operations, you`ll take ownership of Ofsted statutory requirements.
Play an active part with the commercial team.
Your input will help the children`s home run within budget.
Develop a confident and competent staff team.
Implement agreed systems which ensure the effective communication and allocation of resources.
Promote the efficient and effective operation of the home.

Essential
Experience in managing an Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding children`s home.
Need to have at least Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare with 2 years of supervisory experience in a residential setting for young people
Experience of carrying out administrative duties- Filing, recording, rota preparation and report writing.
Enthusiastic, resilient and good with people.
A full UK driving license is a must for this role.
Happy to work flexible hours, to work on a rota.
