I have a fantastic opportunity for a SENIOR/TEAM LEADER in CHILDRENS SERVICES to join a leading organisation of Children Services in Birmingham. You will get the chance to join the MANAGEMENT TEAM as a Deputy manager. The service is a small EBD home with a GOOD rated OFSTED.

Working in conjunction with an experienced manager, you will oversee the operational day to day running of the residential home, ensuring the service is fully compliant with company and OFSTED policies and procedures. Adopting a therapeutic approach to care, you will promote a positive relationship with education providers and the local community. In conjunction with the home manager, you will play a pivotal role in care planning, staff training and recruitment and promoting independence within the care service.

Qualified to NVQ level 3 in children and young people, you will have a proven background in therapeutic residential care for adolescents with EBD, challenging and sexualised behaviour and have previously played a key role in team and shift leading. Working full time, you will need to be flexible in terms of commitment as you will also need to work the occasional weekend and take on call responsibilities as and when required.
