My client is currently recruiting for a deputy manager to join their team based in the Stoke area. You will be an experienced team lead/ or deputy manager within a children`s residential service with a minimum level 3 in children and young people or health and social care. You will need to drive for this position as it is a company policy that all senior members of staff drive and have access to their own car.
Your role is to ensure that Young People have their needs met and the home meets the standards set in the Statement of Purpose. To assist in establishing and maintaining a competent, motivated and confident staffing team and to offer leadership, managerial direction, guidance and support to subordinates. You will be required to step up to home manager when required so you will need to be professional at all time in front of all staff/ users and any visitors. You will be required to work on a shift pattern as part of a rota. Sleep in duties will be included, as well as working weekends and bank holidays when required.
