Job Description

I am working closely with a reputable, national provider of care and support for adults with learning disabilities to recruit their next, outstanding DEPUTY PERIPATETIC MANAGER.

You will become a key member of the management team for a recognised, respected organisation who invests heavily in their staff and are committed to providing the highest possible care to the people they support.

Your new DEPUTY PERIPATETIC MANAGER role, will require you to provide managerial support and guidance within residential, supported living, outreach and/or day services across the Midlands and some of the North.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
o Service / Operations Delivery - working alongside existing teams, as well as new and established managers
o Business development
o Budgeting and finance
o Quality Management
o People Management
o person centred care and support for the people you support
o working within company, CQC and local authority guidelines, developing outstanding relationships and delivering against expectations


Due to the nature of this role, you will spend a lot of time in the field and will need to be prepared for overnight stays from time to time. This will mean you will need to be flexible and adaptable, and be able to lead by example in the delivery of care and support.

This is the perfect opportunity for a team leader, deputy manager or skilled care manager, who thrives on service improvement and delivery, but also likes the challenge of working in a fast paced environment where no day is the same.

To be considered for this exciting role, you MUST:
* Have a successful background in care and support management for learning disabilities and mental health settings
* Hold a relevant care qualification (level 3 or above)
* Be able to demonstrate change management and turnaround success
* Hold a full UK driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be flexible to travel across the Midlands and the North
