Job Description

A well established expanding organization is recruiting for Deputy Team Leader / Senior Support Worker for their Supportive Living Service in Thornbury, Bristol. There are 5 individual homes which support a total of 29 clients (mainly adults) who have Learning disabilities, Autism, Down Syndrome, anxiety and some may display verbal challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
- Help with shift covers, rota's and co-ordinate the shifts
- Help update risk assessments, health & safety checks, care and support plans
- Help mentor, support and run the staff teams
- You may need to help with full personal care including hoisting / manual handling
- Onsite activities, they have a farm where they look after animals and grow vegetable. There also is community hall for any events that take place as well as craft, baking & wood workshops.

Qualifying candidates:
- Must have previous senior / team leader experience or someone who has temporarily stepped into these roles
- Must be a car driver due as you will need to drive the clients to appointments etc

Contract / Terms:
- Salary is £20,176 - £20,592 per annum = £9.70 - £9.90 an hour
- Full time (40 hours) a week, Mondays to Friday plus alternative weekends
- Shift patterns vary between 7am - 10pm with no night shifts. The shift patterns will be made up of earlies, lates evening and weekends (no shift will exceed 10 hours per shift)
