Deputy Team Manager
Working Hours: 37.5 over 5 days
Salary: £23,733

As a deputy manager you will be expected to support the manager in community services. You will be expected to deputise in the managers absence with overseeing the service and providing specialist support to their service users and team.
As a deputy manager you will ensure that the service delivery meets with statuory bodies requirements and is carried out within the National Occupational standards of good practice.

Your Responsibilities:

• Preparation of care plans
• Health and Safety checks
• Risk Assessments
• Compliance with the requirements of regulatory bodies and organisational policies/procedures
• Promoting safe working practice
• Relaying to the Team Manager any information which might adversely affect the service users, staff, or the organisation
• Recognising and responding to the limitations of confidentiality of information
• The promotion of confidentiality of information consistent with principles of good practice
• Responsibility for ensuring an appropriate/safe medication system involving the storage and dispensing of medication

The ideal candidate will have:

• NVQ 3 in care and management
• At least 1 years supervisory experience in a relevant care setting within the past 5 years
• Knowledge of Autistic Spectrum Disorder
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
• Knowledge of NAS accreditation process
• Administrative/organisational skills
• Care Planning Assessment skills
• Budgeting skills
• Physical/mental stamina/ability to work under pressure
