Our client are seeking an Innovation Intern to join their technical team within the Digital and Innovations team whose remit is to help drive product and technical innovation across the business. This is a hands-on role, supporting the Innovation Engineer that will help to define and deliver working prototypes for new business ideas and to showcase emerging technology that has a clear benefit to the business.

Your key responsibilities as an innovation intern will include assisting the Innovation Engineer to work with business innovators and the development teams to define and develop potential new products, innovative enhancements to existing products and technology showcases. Research new technology as directed and maintain a broad awareness of changes across technology and assist in fostering an innovation culture across the business. You will also have the chance to help keep the core IT team aware of incoming changes driven by innovation and continually learn to increase technical skills in creating prototypes.

As the Innovation Intern, you have a passion for new ideas, learning and technology alongside some development skills. Proven ability to create simple end-to-end systems from scratch and have a broad interest in all aspects of digital development. You will have experience in web, data and/or mobile development and knowledge of machine learning or working with API`s/ cloud services such as AWS or Azure will be an advantage. The innovation intern will need to have a can-do attitude and be a great communicator with excellent English.
