Job Description

Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in Ballyclare to recruit an experience Digital Marketing Executive

It is anticipated that this position will initially be part time (circa 30 hours per week) with flexibility regarding the work pattern and, that it may develop into a full time role after an initial period of time.

As the Digital Marketing Executive, you will have the opportunity to help grow the online/offline business.

They are looking for a creative person with experience in all the aspects of Digital Marketing. The candidate must be able to call on their experience as well as inject new great ideas and energy into our business.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, including social media advertising, email marketing (Mail-chimp, DotMailer), display ads, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC)
Assist in the project management of campaigns and marketing initiatives helping to ensure timelines are met
Tracking campaign performance and optimising their content
Management of digital social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
Support with content creation such as SEO friendly copy around our brand and products - distributing this via social media, blog and other digital platforms
Take the lead on day-to-day updates and development of the website and related ecommerce
Use of web analytic software to monitor the performance of our website and make recommendations for improvement
Overseeing website audits for highlighting content for refresh or removal
Identify trends and commercial opportunities for brand
Understand the brand guidelines and ensure they are followed
General administration duties
Other duties which may be required from time to time depending on the needs of the business

Essential Criteria:

Must possess a third level qualification in a marketing discipline (with a strong digital marketing focus)
Have previous demonstrable experience of IT systems and be familiar with MS Office
packages (Excel, Word etc) and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc)
Experience of planning and managing digital marketing campaigns that deliver real demonstrable results
Good knowledge and experience of developing e-mail marketing campaigns and using software such as Mail-chimp and DotMailer
Possess a high level of knowledge in Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Merchant Centre
Possess the ability to prioritise, organise and manage a busy workload by multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
Display initiative, creativity and enthusiasm in all aspects of their work
Candidates must be a fast learner and have the ability to work on own initiative
Candidates will have a good eye for detail and display accuracy in all their work
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must with the ability to effectively
communicate at all levels of the business internally and externally
Possess a flexible and proactive working attitude
Possess a full driving licence

Desirable Criteria:

CIM qualified
2 years+ previous digital marketing experience
Experience in using Adobe In-Design and Photoshop to create and edit marketing material such as print, website, e-mail, and social media graphics
