Job Description

My client based in the City provides information, education and networking to enable clients to improve their businesses.

They are now looking to recruit an experienced Digital Marketing Manager you will head up a team of 4 to manage the strategy and implementation of digital marketing campaigns for online, face to face courses and conferences

You will need a good level of knowledge and experience across the full marketing mix but with particular focus on digital and you will need to have worked in an environment where you have had responsibility for optimising marketing campaigns to ensure the most appropriate mix for the target audience and to give the best possible reach and greatest opportunities for lead generation, engagement and conversion

You'll be responsible for owning, leading and delivering strategic marketing campaigns to new and existing contacts across their portfolio of exciting and innovative products, focusing on targeting and customer segmentation to reach appropriate contacts.

This job involves managing the complete campaign schedule including (but not limited to) potential commercial impact (gaps in the sales pipeline, revenue opportunities, topical issues etc, marketing segmentation and customer fatigue so you'll need to be someone who thrives on taking ownership and seeing things through to fruition.

They need someone who has experience in managing and leading a team and who can ensure through their own activity and their team's that the marketing automation campaign strategies are aligned with business engagement goals and that we have measurable campaign objectives with scalable, repeatable campaigns and reporting analysis.


Specifically you will need:
Experience of leading marketing projects including, data management for client and prospects including acquisition, maintenance and GDPR compliance and segmentation
o Extensive experience across the full marketing mix including: Search engine marketing and optimisation, Social media, Digital advertising, Email marketing and Content marketing, Best Practice, Web Analytics (Google Analytics or similar) and data management
o Experience in implementing marketing automation technology
o Experience marketing B2B training and events would be desirable
o Marketing related degree preferably with a digital marketing emphasis or equivalent professional experience
o Proven track record of developing creative and innovative marketing strategies and successful results orientated campaigns
o Excellent email marketing and copywriting skills with a passion for detail and accuracy
o Strong leadership and the ability to handle multiple tasks, to prioritise these tasks and meet tight deadlines
o Practical experience of marketing planning and budgeting
o Knowledge of the legal market would be an advantage
