Job Description

Digital PR Campaigns Executive
Ellesmere Port 19k-23k

The Digital PR Executive will be responsible for earning PR/Editorial level content placements and backlinks for our clients. Working within our content marketing team you will assist with the ideation and creation of digital PR campaigns. You will contribute to campaign assets and write supporting content and press releases. You will then liaise with relevant press, editors and bloggers to distribute press releases and campaign content to gain PR level exposure.
This is a results driven role where organisation and determination to meet targets within a number of projects is key.

Responsibilities
? Develop and maintain a press database of contacts in various industries and topics suitable for our clients.
? Liaise via email and phone with journalists and editors to establish and nurture relationships, with the end goal of earning backlinks to our clients' websites.
? Work with the content marketing team to generate ideas for content marketing and digital PR campaigns that earn links from top-tier publishers.
? Contribute to ideation sessions with the relevant members of content marketing and other internal teams.
? Write content, blogs and press releases for our clients to support their content marketing and digital PR campaigns.
? Work with online influencers and bloggers to develop and share our clients content and campaigns.
? Distribute press releases and campaign content to earn placements on PR and editorial publications.
? Produce client reports at the end of each digital PR campaign.
? Ensure that personal delivery targets are met and work completed to standard and deadline.
? Keep all relevant internal reporting, systems and documentation are kept up to date.
? Carry out additional ad-hoc duties as required by the business.

Skills and Experience
? Experience in developing and executing digital PR campaigns - desirable
? Solid understanding of how to run content marketing campaigns - desirable
? A solid idea of what makes something newsworthy and a sound understanding of how journalists and editors work - desirable
? Ability to get content published on editorial and press websites - desirable
? Proven ability to plan work and meet deadlines when working under pressure on a number of projects - essential
? Ability to work within a team and on own initiative - essential
? Drive to meet and exceed individual and team delivery targets - essential
? Excellent organisation and communication skills - essential
? Desire and ability to learn quickly on the job - essential
? Understanding of the wider marketing mix and integration of digital - desirable
