Job Description
Brook Street is delighted to be working with our Belfast client to be working with our Belfast client to recruit a new Digital Sales Manager to join their sales team
Out client is a well know high quality brand that has been in circulation for over 20 years
Overall Purpose of the role:
Provide leadership to the sales department
Drive digital reach and revenue streams of the Group including in new geographies
Sell at a high level across all Group platforms including print, events and digital
Maintain and develop existing extensive client base
Manage day to day running of the department
Main Duties:
Provide leadership to the sales department.
To grow digital reach and revenue streams of the Group including in new geographies.
Developing digital products e.g. website advertising, e-newsletters, social media reels, etc.
Maintain and grow existing extensive client base.
Day to day management of the department.
Sell across all Group digital/print/event products.
Key activities: generating sales revenue by telephone sales, generating leads, meeting advertising agencies, etc.
Raise the profile of the Company with key decision makers including advertising agencies in Belfast, Dublin, and London.
Develop new partnerships, features, and concepts for each of the Company`s products.
Develop a network of contacts within the industry through personal contact.
Attend relevant functions on behalf of the Company.
Personally generate new profitable sales in line with agreed KPI targets.
Detail pricing arrangements with customers.
Maintain regular contact with customer base and keeping customers updated on changes in the company`s digital, print and event products.
Interface with other internal departments on a proactive basis to meet the needs of the company.
Be supportive of the objectives and ethos of the Company.

Criteria
Good level of secondary education demonstrating high degree of numeracy & literacy
A minimum of two years` sales experience gained in a relevant environment - e.g. media, advertising, digital, publishing, events company.
Excellent communication and influencing skills including presentation and negotiation skills, both oral & written
Effective planning and organisation skills
Computer literate including MS Office experience
Salary will depend on background and experience and can be determined after interview
