D.O.D. Print Operator

Working hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8:30-17:00. Overtime may be offered during busy periods.

Salary: 20k P/A dependant on experience.

Location: Leyland, Lancashire.

Start date: ASAP

Brook Street are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and hard working candidate to work for an award winning, well established business based in Leyland, Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate, we are looking for a Drop on Demand( D.O.D.) Print Machine Operator to join a sucsessful manufacturing business. We welcome candidates with experience in print machine background or digital print market, ideally have experience working with D.O.D. system, however full training will be provided.

MAIN TASKS OF JOB:

-To produce high quality personalisation for Gift and Loyalty products.
-To check quality and prepare print for installation dispatch
-Operation of D.O.D. personalisation machinery (full training will be provided)
-Managing enquiries from other account managers and line managers.
-Operation of other print finishing equipment (cross training will be given)
-Working with other departments to ensure dispatch times are met.
-General cleaning and maintenance of printers and machinery on a day to day basis(training will be provided)
-General administrative duties such as filing details for individual jobs, filing job sheets etc.
-Keeping the area clean, tidy and safe, monitoring machinery

REQUIREMENTS:

-Good Computer skills are essential
-Highly motivated and willingness and ability to learn
-Able to work to a high standard of accuracy with business critical data
-Keen eye for detail
-Be enthusiastic and ambitious
-Able to work to tight deadlines
-Good communication skills
-Must be able to work as part of a team
-Physical stamina sufficient to move pallets and racks that contain plastic and/or Board products.
