BS- Social Care are recruiting for support workers with relevant background in supporting vulnerable individuals and women fleeing domestic abuse. The needs of our residents will vary, with issues related to Mental health, domestic violence, immigration issues, health and housing-resettlement related etc.
You will be working 3-4 days a week Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and you will need to be able to manage your own diary.
If you speak any these language Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali and Urdu that would be very desirable.
You must have experience of:
" A Driving Licence and Use of own vehicle is essential for this role
" Ability to deal with a high volume of work efficiently and effectively
" Ability to support residents applications for Housing Benefit/Universal Credit..
" Able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a pressurised environment
" carry out assessments and co-produce individual support plans
" completing risk assessments
" The progressions / outcomes delivered should be recorded, monitored, reviewed and updated regularly, in a timely manner and in line with contract requirement
" Ensure that the environment of the service user accommodation is well maintained and in adherence with health and safety regulations
" Work with colleagues and co-ordinate activity across the team and with other stakeholders, including attending meetings, to ensure the service is achieving its aims
