Driver - CAT CE license
Full time Monday to Friday
Based in Coventry
National Driving position however most areas covered in 2021 will be Midlands based

THE COMPANY
The company are well established within their industry and have recently moved into BRAND NEW PREMISES. They are looking to recruit a Driver - CAT CE license to join their business where you will report into the Depot Manager.

THE POSITION
Working as a Driver you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is delivered to and from site within designated timescales. Most of the driving being completed throughout 2021 will mainly be in the Midlands however it is a national role and some overnight stays may be required due to other locations.

Main responsibilities include -
- Making sure all equipment is delivered safely and on time according to project deadlines
- Supporting and helping with the Loading and unloading of goods on site
- Ensuring that all equipment is recorded correctly when being delivered with the correct delivery notes
- Planning journeys in the most efficient way
- Attend training courses to further develop yourself and career
- Monitor and abide by the tachograph rules at all time
- Record journey logs
- Keeping in regular contact with the Drilling team advising them of any delays to the journey if required
- Assist with general depot duties if necessary

ABOUT YOU
For this position you will have good experience working as a Driver with a CAT CE license. Knowledge transporting large and heavy plant materials (construction/building etc).

Other skills required:
- A good understanding of H&S policies
- Excellent knowledge of the UK
- A good understanding of IT packages
- Previous experience using a Tachograph and working in a warehouse/yard when not driving
- Full UK Driving license
- Hold a CSCS card
