Driver/ Warehouse Assistant Required

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Our client is a leading supplier of furniture and soft finishing and needs a Warehouse operative. This role will be suited to someone with warehouse experience and knowledge. You will be reporting into warehouse manager.

90% of the job is driving.

Your duties include: Keeping the warehouse organised, clean and tidy, Receiving goods in, checking against delivery notes, Picking and packing goods ready for dispatch, ensuring paperwork is marked off, Familiar with use of computer to produce carrier labels and consignment notes, Loading and unloading of vans for deliveries, Organising goods for Blind and Curtain fitters ready for their collection, Manufacturing of some goods using power tools, Be a TEAM player and Forklift operation - training can be provided for right candidate.

Driving duties: You will be dropping of goods to client this can be local or anywhere across the UK, depending on location you maybe required to stay overnight, able to unload goods and offer a great client experience.

You will need to have: 2 years of warehouse experience and driving 3.5t, can do attitude, work well alone and within a team, UK driving licence and some basic experience in general fittings.

Your package: salary based on experience £26- £28k, with time and half at Overtime, training on product knowledge will be given, free onsite parking and free lunches, 28 holiday including bank holiday this is a permanent full-time job.

Located in Basildon - Mon to Fri 7.30am to 4.30pm.
