Job Description

** Drug and Alcohol Support Workers **
** Permanent and full time **
** Northampton, Northamptonshire **
** 37.75 hours per week working a 2 week rolling of 7.30am - 7.45pm with alternate weekends **
** Working with people with brain injury and a history of drug and alcohol issues **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for 2 permanent and full time Support Workers within the Northampton area of Northamptonshire to work with adults with brain injury and a history of drug and alcohol issues. You will work 37.75 hours per week and will alternate your weekends.

About the employer; this employer is a well known medium sized care company working with adults with brain injury. They have homes based around the country.

About the job; your role will be to work closely with the adults within the service to ensure they are being well looked after. Your service users have brain injuries for different reasons which means they need additional help within any aspect of their lives. You will also assist them if and when they do use drugs and alcohol.

About the ideal candidate; ideally you will have experience of working with people with brain injury and experience of working with people with drug and alcohol issues. Challenging behaviour can arise at times so it is ideal that you have experience with this also.
