I am seeking a Duty Manager to work within a development of luxury retirement homes in Hampshire. Property owners live independently however, personal care and catering services are available to them.
The service hosts just over 80 independent residences for retirees; this includes apartments, townhouses and bungalows. It`s not just somewhere to sleep and while the days away watching TV between visits from carers; the residents will have the option to watch a movie in our theatre with their family, go fishing on the lake, relax in the comfort of their home enjoying one of our specially catered meals or maybe they`ll nip across the road to the spa.
You will provide 24 hour care and as the duty manager you`ll be responsible for managing a team of housekeepers and carers, to ensure that the highest levels of care are given. You`ll liaise with the General Manager to ensure that you are always adequately staffed, you`ll also assist with rotas, time sheets and cash administration.
There will also be a Restaurant and Café on the site, where the residents can eat, drink and relax.
This role would suit someone who has experience within the Care sector in either a Team Leader or Management role and ideally a NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
Or, perhaps, someone with extensive experience in Care who is ready to take the next step in their career.
-Salary; £12.25 p/h during the day & £13.15 p/h during the night
-This is for a Full-Time position, 37.5 hours a week
-Shifts run on a rolling rota of 25 days. Where you will work a variety of shift patterns
