Brook Street are delighted to be working with a luxury hotel in Inverness who are known for their warm welcome and Scottish hospitality.

Our client is seeking a Duty Manager to join their team. The successful candidate should have a Food & Beverage background with previous supervisory experience. The manager will be responsible for leading and training a team to achieve excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Main responsibilities:
" To bridge the operational gap between the different departments to ensure a smooth F&B operation at all times.
" Monitor standards by engaging with guests to ensure a high level of service is maintained across the department
" Completion of the Food & Beverage roster ensuring the department is appropriately staffed in line with the needs of the business.
" To have a 'hands on' approach to the needs of the business to deliver excellent customer service.
" Deliver on the job coaching to individuals within our F&B team to ensure they are trained to the required standard.
" Master of Ceremonies duties to be conducted at events within the hotel where required.
" Effectively managing the inventory of the F&B department ensuring the correct equipment is in place for the department to be fully operational.
" Ensure compliance to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Licensing laws.
" Undertaking Duty Manager shifts where required assuming responsibility for the entire hotel in the absence of the senior management team.
" To promote teamwork within your own department and with other departments within the hotel.
You will be working five days from seven including weekends on a shift basis as directed by our Operations Manager.
