Job Description

** Duty Manager/Night Duty Manager **
** Chipping Norton, Oxford **
** Permanent **
** 30 hours per week **
** £8.72ph / £13,603 - £16,208 / £10.39ph **

BS Social Care are currently working with a care organisation who provides care for the older generation within the Chipping Norton area of Oxford. This is a permanent role offering 30 hours per week working daytime shifts and evening shifts available, this will include working alternate weekends.

(Duty Manager shift patterns are from 8.45am - 4.30pm and/or 4.15pm - 9.45pm. This will include working alternate weekends. Night Duty Manager shift patterns are from 9.30pm - 9.00am (8 hours sleeping and 3.5 waking hours). This will include working alternate weekends.)

About the job; the post holder is a member of the management team undertaking the evening shifts and providing occasional day time cover for the Registered Estates Manager and Assistant Manager if required and is expected to discharge all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to enhance the quality of Assisted Living resident's lives in retirement. The post holder is accountable to the Estate Manager for the following:
- Undertaking the required Estates Management functions as part of the duty management team.
- Responding to emergency situations.
- Monitoring that staff provide high quality care and support for the residents.
- Producing staff rotas and ensuring they are effectively covered.
- Taking the lead role for a given service area.
- Expected to discharge all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to enhance the quality of assisted living resident's lives in retirement.

About the ideal candidate; for this role, we are looking for candidates with a Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (QCF) Level 2 or equivalent and at least one years experience in a care and or support role.

For this permanent role working 30 hours per week as a basic you will earn £8.72ph / £13,603 - £16,208 / £10.39ph. You will also be working within a luxurious setting offering didn't job opportunities within the organisation.
