My client is currently looking for some temporary editorial support for the next 2/3 months. This is a great opportunity for someone who already has experience but has the passion and drive to learn more.

We are ideally looking for a candidate who can assit and support the current team with the below aspects:

" Supporting the communication of materials and content (for example, newsletters), ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines.

*Supporting the officers to edit and proof read blogs and to work with academics in the production of these.

Check edited files, proofs, revises and final copy, including blogs, briefing notes, newsletters and web content and deal with outstanding queries.

" Project-manage blogs and briefing documents where required, from receipt of accepted blog through to publication, including liaising with academics and officers within Policy@Manchester

" To ensure a consistent stream of high-quality content for a range of channels and audiences, aligned to the overall strategy for Policy@Manchester.

*Updating the Policy@Manchester website, ensuring consistency of content, messaging and alignment with other University activity.

" Working with the officers to ensure a rich stream of engaging and dynamic content via online and social media, including (but not limited to) blogs, Twitter and LinkedIn.
