Job Description
Brook Street is currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician to assist the Engineering team of our Dungannon based client. Reporting to the sites Senior Mechanical Technician the main purpose of your role is to;
Aid and support the Operations department in the repair and fault diagnosis of all manufacturing equipment.
To assure the safety and general upkeep of electrical equipment including carrying out Preventative Maintenance
To perform electrical diagnostics as required
Maintain and update electrical schematics
To provide appropriate training for electrical apprentices
Completion of electronic time sheets daily
Electromechanical fault diagnosis
Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
Update and maintenance of records in accordance with internal systems, ISO9001, ISO14001, BRC etc.
Lead and facilitate energy reduction plans for shift team and ensure that energy efficiency considerations are factored into daily work.
Effectively use technical knowledge and communication skills to work in an innovative manner as part of an engineering team or whilst performing individual assignments to ensure completion of set targets.
Flexibility and travel requirements are essential for this role as shifts are on a 12 hour rotating shift basis (nights)

Essential Criteria
Recognized apprenticeship qualification (at BTEC O.N.C Level 2 or above in Electrical)
Experience serving within a high speed manufacturing environment to include a minimum of 3 years` directly relevant experience post qualification.
You must show a confidence and strong understanding of Preventative maintenance
Demonstrate an effective understanding of Electrical control systems and ability to fault find electrical issues.
Desirable Criteria
Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics and ability to fault find process and mechanical issues.
Working knowledge of auxiliary systems such as compressors, chilled water etc.
Knowledge and experience of Grade Change Management
