My Public Sector Client is currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor/Employee Relations Advisor to join their well established busy team based in Lincoln on a full time temporary basis for a period of atleast 6 months.
The purpose of this role will be to provide professional, complex and sensitive advice and guidance for employees on individual terms and conditions of employment including statutory and contractual entitlements; i.e maternity, paternity, parental leave and retirement.
The main duties of this role will be;
" To advise line, senior managers and staff on the interpretation and application of case law, terms and conditions of employment, policies, current legislation and codes of practice, ensuring that good employment practices are maintained and legal obligations upheld.
" Provide, professional advice and support to managers, dealing with employment issues, including grading disputes, the use of the trusts disciplinary, grievance procedures and the disciplinary procedure for clinical staff, ensuring that procedures are followed and fairly and consistently applied.
" To support Managers with investigation planning and organise meetings
" Undertake disciplinary and grievance enquiries in conjunction with line managers
The successful candidate should be a CIPD Member (CIPD Level 5 or higher) with a generalist HR background and experience of attendance and performance management e.g. conduct and grievances; sickness absence management and change management.
The rate of pay for this position is £10.86 - £14.12 depending on skills and experience + holiday pay
