Brook Street recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of our legal client in Belfast to recruit a new Employment Law Solicitor - the candidate hired will need to have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualified experience.

The successful candidate will take over an existing case load of quality claimant-based cases.

Duties

• Undertake a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work for a broad client base of household names in sectors such as retail, transport and banking.
• Be involved in delivering a programme of training, seminars and legal updates to clients.
• Provide employment law advice to employees and employers
• Handle contentious matters in Industrial and Fair Employment Tribunals
• Specialise in advising public body clients
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships
• Help clients develop employment contracts and policies

Criteria

• Around 3 year's PQE in employment law whether from private practice or in-house.
• The suitable candidate will need to have good file management experience
• Experience in case management programs
• Experience in tribunal proceedings
• Strong advocacy, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong academic background
