Engagement Manager
Thames Valley Park, Reading
Contract is 6 months

Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit an Engagement Manager. This is a contract role based in Reading for 6 months (until the end of the financial year, June 2019).

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.

Salary: up to £37,300 per annum, based on experience, plus benefits

Job Description

Our Customer Services and Support (CSS) team is on the front lines with our customers - Consumer and Enterprise - helping them get the most from their technology investments.
With CSS spread across multiple sites and 3 time zones, we are looking for an Engagement Manager who demonstrates experience in/understanding of management and administration of sites covering multiple sites within a given time zone or country.

Responsibilities

" Be an advocate managing strategic stakeholders such as the site leader, real estate and facilities, local IT, local security. Ensuring effective business relationships to anticipate and manage issues and escalations
" Responsible for annual site plan and delivery
" Drive programmes and project for CSS to improve employee experience
" Ensure effective business operations for CSS team including facilities, compliance and adherence to local regulations & standards
" Local engagement with CSS Business Engagement Manager, GMSO, HR, and other onsite teams to create opportunities to collaborate
" Coordinate with Site Program Manager and broader teams of Admins to ensure comprehensive support is received for the CSS teams
" Handle logistics setup for all hands, off-sites, and other events

Candidate Requirements
" Project management skills but not necessarily a Project Manager style; the ideal candidate will be someone who is creative.
" Proficiency with the Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote
" 2+ years in a group administrative, project management, or business operations role

Qualifications
" This isn't a Project Manager role per say, but there are skills that tie in with a Project Manager that are required to be successful in this role.
" The role is a hybrid between running projects and managing the administrative tasks.
" Demonstrated problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
" Demonstrated ability to change direction in response to changing work situations.
" Ability to accommodate working styles and perspectives of diverse individuals
