Brook Street are currently recruiting for an Engineering Administration Manager to work with the MoD based in Corsham, Bristol.
The Engineering Administration Manager will work within the Engineering Administrative Team and will report into the Engineering SO2 Coord. The role is vital to enabling the smooth running of the Engineering team of around 150 people. The holder of that role needs to have solid experience of a similar role on other IT projects, good communication skills, attention to detail and be comfortable reporting on the current status of their activities to senior Engineering management when necessary.
The in-scope work for the Engineering Administration Manager includes:
Maintenance of the Engineering team resource spreadsheets and organisation structure on behalf of the Engineering Management.
Managing temporary access to the sites.
Managing and coordinating events, both internal and with wider Defence Digital.
Managing Engineering SharePoint based document libraries on MODNET and within the development environment.
Liaison with wider Defence Digital and contractual partners to manage resources, both infrastructure and manpower.
Coordination of available facilities, office space and meeting rooms for the Engineering team.
Conducting discreet tasks which support the administration and effective working practises of the
Engineering team within NSOIT(D) as tasked by the Engineering Senior Management.
High competency in MS Office Suite, including Visio
Desirable skills, qualifications, and experience:
Knowledge of the Atlassian toolset (JIRA and Confluence) to record and document work.
This Engineering Administration Manager position is a full-time temporary role, 37 hours a week starting ASAP ongoing until 24/08/20 and paying £13.20.
