A fantastic and unique client of ours is currently recruiting for an Engineering Technologist to join their research and operations team to help develop tools and technologies to make their product.

As an engineering Technologist you will be working with other engineers to prepare functional designs and work with suppliers (internal and external) to ensure the components are adequately specified and the product dimensions can be achieved consistently and economically. You will also be assisting the GIC research team with developments and modifications to existing equipment and processes as part of their on-going drive to improve performance. As the Engineering Technologist you will use SEM, EDS, XRF and thermal property techniques to test and analyse the materials

To be successful as an Engineering Technologist, you will be educated to at least HNC/HND or BTEC level and have experience in working in a lab or manufacturing environment. You will familiar with the demands of machining challenging engineering materials including ceramics and refractory metals and working with analytical equipment is desired such as SEM and XRF.

The company are offering £30,000 - £35,000 per year, plus great company benefits such as free parking, great pension scheme, health and well-being classes on offer and much more!
