Job Description

An exciting new job opportunity has just become available within a government department, as a document reviewer. The role will require a technical and complex understanding of law, and as such only law graduates, or those who have completed a law conversion course will be successful. Previous document reviewing experience is desirable, but not essential.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
-Reading, understanding and analysing complex cases. And, providing meaningful feedback in team meetings on the cases
-Reviewing and transferring digital materials using the digital review system and excel
-Cross referencing differing documents via the document review system, collating them into a complete set and accurately describing them via email review
-Using excel to manage large quantities of data
-Identifying legal professional privilege material and referring to appropriate team members
Essential criteria
-A law degree (or law conversion course) obtained in England or Wales
-Proficiency in Microsoft office, especially excel
-Ability to understand complex and technical information
