Home Office Resourcing Centre Resourcing Support Partner (EO)

Job description/purpose of the role:

The Home Office needs great people with relevant professional skills and capabilities to achieve the mission of keeping citizens safe and our country secure. The Home Office Resourcing function oversees, manages and administers all resourcing activities within the Home Office. It ensures that the organisation can successfully attract and retain good people through the design of quality roles and use of specific, targeted resourcing, attraction and selection strategies.

The role of the Resourcing Support team is to provide effective internal administrative support to ensure resourcing operations are executed successfully.

The EO Resourcing Support is responsible for assisting with the provision of administrative and tactical day-to-day support to enable the successful, efficient execution of recruitment campaigns across the Home Office. As such, the post holder will need to demonstrate an ability to work autonomously, in a fast-paced environment, with managers at all levels of the organisation.

The EO Resourcing Support reports directly to the Resourcing Support Associate.


Key Responsibilities:

" Work with the Resourcing Support Associate to understand commissions received and allocate these to the appropriate Resourcing Support team member to action.
" Oversee a team of Resourcing support team members ensuring workloads are evenly distributed amongst the team and campaigns are supported effectively with tasks being completed within the Target Turnaround Times.
" Work alongside Resourcing Support Associate and Campaign Teams in order to action any urgent or escalated queries in a timely manner
" Responding to complex internal and external stakeholder queries and issues relating to the operations of any campaign to which their team has been assigned, in a timely manner, providing clarity, guidance, direction and escalating queries and issues as required.
" Managing candidate expectations regarding time to hire and key candidate milestones throughout the recruitment experience accurately and effectively.
" Assisting Resourcing Support in ensuring that the proper approval to recruit externally has been obtained as required.
" Working flexibly as a member of the Resourcing Support flexible Deployment Pool to support the delivery of Home Office recruitment campaigns.


Key Interfaces:

o Campaign Advisors and Campaign Associates - to provide all administrative and tactical support required
o External suppliers such as GRS - as part of the provision of ongoing campaign support

o Ability to multi-task, prioritising workload
o Excellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skills
o Keen eye for accuracy
o Ability to work under pressure when faced with competing demands from the business

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week - Mon - Fri 08:30 - 17:30, 1 Hour for Lunch
Pay rate: £14.84 per hour
Location: Regular travel to Croydon will be required
Length of Assignment Required: 12 Months
Security clearance: Prior to commencement, ALL temporary workers must be vetted to CTC level.
You must have a valid passport and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years.
