We've got a great opportunity for a role within the public sector, to join a fast-paced office, working in the IT department. Working with a professional team, you'll be based in Worthing and will enjoy being part of a company with a great work life balanced.
Build of networked devices (laptops and Surface Pros) - following a scripted build process.
Installing and removal of software from devices, including interaction with customer by phone and via e-mail/Skype/Teams.
Process service requests within SLA for supply of equipment (using a service desk tooling), keeping the customer up to date with progress.
Answering customer queries, providing advice and obtaining information from the customer relating to supply of IT equipment and issues with hardware by phone and via e-mail/Skype/Teams.
Packaging up IT equipment for dispatch and accurately recording details on logs and asset systems.
Unpacking received post and accurately recording receipt of IT equipment.
Moving of IT equipment between store rooms and transporting packages to the post room.
Accurate recording of IT asset information and preparing IT assets for disposal.
Updating asset database to record and update ownership of hardware items.
£11.36 p/h * 42 hours a week (only work 37 but paid for 42)
THIS IS A TEMPORARY CONTRACT - Role predicted until the end of March 2021


A BASIC DBS WILL BE UNDERTAKEN FOR THIS ROLE & 3 YEARS REFERENCING.
