Job Description

Our client based in the Rumney area of Cardiff is looking for an Estimator to provide a sales resource within an existing busy supply sales channel. The role will work closely with the Commercial Managers, the Customer Service and Technical team estimating, following up and converting quotations into orders. This position is responsible for pro-actively generating, converting quotations, dealing directly with customers, assisting the Commercial team, recording data and activities on a CRM system. At the point of sale, the role will be responsible for passing information to the Customer service team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

* Provides central point of contact for incoming telephone and web sales enquiries
* Prepare and sends quotations via the ERP (Navision)
* Work Closely with Sales, Technical, Customer Service departments
* Responsible for following up and converting quotes <10k into orders
* Build relationships with customers
* Refers technical enquiries to the relevant person
* Maintains CRM information by entering and backing up data (Salesforce Lighting)
* Ensures correct processing of inquiries by following Process Map
* Prioritises Work in order to achieve Monthly Order Intake and Margin goals
* Feedback on quotes lost and improvements

You will need to to have an Estimating background within the contruction/building management industry along with strong relationship building skills.
